The majority of people are concerned about what is currently going on in the Arctic. Should Australian companies be pushing forward without the people consent.

From these results the majority of people know either nothing or one fact about mining's effect. To solve this the media should tell Australia or even the world more about the effects that mining has to the environment, let alone the Arctic.

It is clear that though people know very little about what it is truly going on they still feel strongly about saving the Arctic.25% wishes to ban it all together while 20% has almost lost hope on the mining activities currently in action and wish to save areas not yet destroyed. To solve this problem a Treaty like the one in Antarctica should be put in place.
